This book examines how slosh tanks or in other words, Tuned Liquid Dumper (TLD), may be effective in reducing the lateral movement and accelerations in tall buildings. There are several variables that could affect the dumping performance of the system. A constructed model (frame) was used in experiment to investigate those parameters. Identify the key influencing parameters associated with slosh tank design and making critical comparison between the experimental study with those in existing theory.
